A Day in The Life of Child who has Exceed Cognitivel Level Expectations

I asked the mentor to tell me about the  good student  in class and she suggested Nouf.

Through my observation of Nouf, I found many advantages in this student such as she working hard in her class and she helps her friends. . Also, the parameter  encouraged  Nouf to submit the best when she had to do an activity. She was feel excited and she trying to finishing quickly. So I prefer this way because the students like when they are exposed to the praise and encouragement. In addition, I learned from my observation, the  students who they  good or the students weak. they are need indictment, encouragement and praise for their work to reach for success.

They  learning Science, I see It’s very important because they will know many things about the  trees  and how can it  grow.

I think she needs to diversity in activities.

Bring some live sources as sand.

When  they were planting trees and they learn who can it grow.

Actually, I haven't seen any special strategy that teacher use.

It's nice when they put their trees on the window to reach the sunlight on their trees. , I liked that.

 Playing  with musical  instruments and when they were sang.

Actually, I haven't seen any special strategy that teacher use.

Yes, she acts, action and explain the song physically.

8. What did you enjoy about the lesson?

I see this the favourite lesson for students because they change their routine.

The teacher tells to the students about the activity that they will do and she always diversity of activities provided by them. Students taking for 15 min to do any activity and they are always in groups.After this observation I did interview  with Nouf and were as follows:

Classroom Management and Teacher Talk

Punctuality at the beginning of the lesson	teacher arrives before the pupils and most of the students arrive in school at the same time (7:40).
Teacher’s response to those who are late. What does she say?	positive reinforcement Teacher say for students (Well done, Excellent).

Starting the day: what does the teacher say? do?	Teacher cast salute to all students then she use a tool (Tambourine) to help her to collect the students then she go with them to the morning queue.
Lining up : location	Playground    She use the tool (Tambourine)  and outside class  her hand to do the applause. Inside class
Teacher instructions for lining up: what does she say? do?	She say 1,2,3.. and all the student come to her. Also, she use her hand to do the applause.
Ending the day: what does the teacher say? /do?	She say, we have finished now and she went with them to their bus and say goodbye.
Moving the children for an activity. What does she say? do?	She choose the names of students who are quiet to go to do the activity that he \she wants.
Moving the children: how do they respond?	They are very obedient to the teacher and they follow the rules of class.
Misbehaviour
What was the learner doing?	Play or not  focus with teacher.
What did the teacher say? do?	Teacher say do not this a second time and if the student do this again she send the student to other class for half a hour.
How did thechild respond:	Do not try to repeat this behavior.
How does the teacher stop the children at the end of an activity? What does she say? do?	Now we finished so, You must Cleaning of the class if you are wants to go early.

Through my observation I learned that the best way with students is  encourage them by use the encouraging phrases to motivate them. Also, I had noticed the teacher used a lot of phrases encouraging  like when she say well done, good work and excellent and a lot of students feel joy when they  hear to these words.

Wonderful events

In every monday  morning the teachers gives certificate  to the students who had good working in the last week. This week they choose Sultan who is in my class.

 After the break, my class were started to learn traditional dances to do that at in national day.
